Good job done

That's one HR off the books and a great job done by all involved. Thanks to Bob, Shane & Dennis for the burns and also to Tony & his mitigation crew for clearing such great lines for us; made our job a heap easier and quicker for sure.

Blacking Out

Burn's all wrapped up and we're just blacking out

Dennis looms from the smoke..

All proceeding well here, about 75% complete and ticking along according to plan..

Starting off nicely

Nearly ready...

Just a bit of tidying and waiting for the temperature to drop and humidity to rise a bit before getting into things...

Sunset Burn with Dennis

Weather permitting we are hoping to be updating live from the HR tonight.

A Top Day's Work

A happy and weary crew at the end of a good day's HR burning on Saturday. Whilst we couldn't get into things till the afternoon due to being on standby to support for possible fires NW of us, we were able to get about half of the planned burn complete by the end of the day. Top work chaps and thanks to the stand-by crews for making themselves available in case we were needed elsewhere.

Rare & Unusual

Here's something we don't see very often - Bucketty 1 filling up from a roadside hydrant; surely worth a photo :)
