Nothing found..

..but we shall keep our noses to the ground [or in the air !] over the next few weeks to ensure no smouldering remains out there. Given the amount of rain we had last night it's still incredibly dry underfoot.

Investigating possible lightning strike..

Bucketty #9 out late last night investigating lightning strike on the slopes to the NE of George Downes Drive between Letter A and Rd 7. Smoke found drifting up from valley below but hopes are that the rain has extinguished whatever started. Patrol heading out on foot this morning to check.
Reckon the leeches are going to be hungry :)

Fill 'er up...

Cessnock #13 Bulk Water paid a visit to Bucketty Station this morning to deliver some much needed water out here; thanks for making the trip out here guys, much appreciated.

We'd worked out it would take us around 10 hours to do the same thing ourselves with our Cat #1!
